Hey, we're Parth and Shubham. We love travelling. we just don't get to do it nearly as often as we'd like. So when we do, we tend to get a little carried away.
A meal becomes a conversation. A conversation becomes an invitation. Suddenly, the pizza place we almost skipped is the place we keep going back to. Our carefully considered first impression? Wrong. Again.
World Is Local grew out of that curiosity. We want to know what people eat, how they spend an ordinary evening, and what we would miss if we only stopped for the photo. There is room for famous sights too. We just like leaving enough time for something we didn't know existed.
On this website, we write about travel, food, places to stay, and the things we figure out along the way. Some pieces might help you plan a trip. Others might give you a reason to take one, or something to laugh about while you're very much not on holiday. Same here, usually.
We are the people travelling, writing, filming, and occasionally getting distracted by lunch. No mysterious team behind the curtain. Just us, trying to turn the things we notice into something worth sharing.
